SpecKare® BSA (Betaine Salicylate) is a gentle exfoliating active derived from natural salicylic acid and betaine. It works by promoting controlled keratin exfoliation to smooth skin while benefiting from betaine’s skin-conditioning properties. Functionally, it delivers approximately twice the efficacy of salicylic acid, with 4% betaine salicylate comparable to 2% salicylic acid. In addition, it inhibits the growth of Propionibacterium acnes, supporting clearer and more refined skin with improved tone.
