3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid is a amphiphilic (hydrophilic and lipophilic) vitamin C derivative obtained by substituting ethyl group at the 3-hydroxyl structure of vitamin C to protect vitamin C from oxidation and destroying activity. SpecWhite® VCE is not only more convenient to use in the formulation, but also easily penetrates the stratum corneum into the dermis layer. After entering the skin, it is decomposed by biological enzymes to act as a vitamin C.
